About The Camí de Cavalls (GR 223)
The Camí de Cavalls circles the island along its coast; the Consell Insular de Menorca describes it as a path of 185 km, and it is waymarked as the long-distance trail GR 223. You can walk it in sections: Cala Galdana to Macarella, Es Grau to Favàritx, or Punta Nati near Ciutadella. In March 2026 the Consell gave initial approval to moving a stretch near the Salines d’Addaia away from the wetland (cime.es).
